To be honest, I have my new Tumblr [link] to thank for that.
It all happened accidentally too. For the past few weeks I'd been suffering from the normal mid-semester slump, not feeling motivated enough to do anything and really not feeling like I could do anything well. I was really struggling through my classes, my school work, and everything else, not even feeling motivated enough to cook dinner for myself. But, while browsing through Facebook, one of my friends posted a link to a blog on this site called Tumblr. It was about girls who read, and I loved it so much that I poked around the author's blog, which led me to poking around the website itself. And, lo and behold, I suddenly have a few well-written entries, a full printer page's worth of ideas to blog about, have given myself challenges, am making myself known in the community, and more importantly, am feeling so much better.
And I guess the online-community-spirit was contagious enough to spread to my ever-forgotten DA page.
I finally responded to all my comments. I thanked adds to favorites lists. I updated my desktop, added all my new artwork *and my best photography, and am writing this new journal entry. I have full plans to create a Deviant ID. And, I am feeling much better, much more bright-hearted, and much more motivated towards life itself.
Who knew art and blogging could do that to a person?
Go check out my Tumblr. Who knows, you may get hit by the same thing I did.
Plus, I'd love some more followers. ^^
And as always, read, follow, comment, favorite.
